In the summer of 2022, while coaching young athletes in taekwondo sparring, I noticed a significant problem: ineffective gear. The shin guards and arm guards would repeatedly come loose during matches, causing athletes to waste their time in between spars. I decided to launch my brand MIR in order to simplify taekwondo equipment so that athletes can perform at their most efficient levels. With a mix of high-grade materials and modern technologies, MIR aims to pave the way for a new generation of taekwondo equipment.
